Continuous Medical Education
The International Conference Progress in Uro-Oncology – 14th Edition, Cluj-Napoca, Romania 27/09/2024 – 28/09/2024, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 16.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
Certificate of attendance
The certificate of attendance with CME credits will be issued only to participants who attend the event.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the
educational activity.
Official language
The scientific presentations will be held in English/Romanian.
Infostand
The Conference Secretariat will be located at the Conference floor of Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Hotel, and the working schedule will be as follows:
- 27 September 2024 | 7.30 AM – 6.00 PM
- 28 September 2024 | 8.00 AM – 2.00 PM
Program Handbook
Each participant will receive from the Info Stand the Program Handbook, which includes Conference and partners’ materials.
Badges
Participants are kindly asked to wear their badges at all times while inside the Conference center.
Internet Access
Internet access will be available by wireless connection at the location.
The password will be available at the Info Stand.
Conference Access
For access in the Conference room, you will be using the badge received after registering at the Info Stand. Participants will choose their seats on “first come, first serve” basis. Therefore, we recommend to plan for an early arrival at the premises.
Information for Speakers
Only digital materials that adhere to the agreed-upon technical specifications during registration will be accepted for presentation. Please ensure that these materials are submitted in the conference room at least 3 hours before the scheduled presentation time.
Not being able to respect the technical specifications or the time limit could have a negative impact on your presentation.
Media Politics
Photography and filming during the Conference are prohibited without written permission from the event Media Coordinator, whom you can contact at the Secretariat.
Electricity
The electricity in Romania runs on 230 volts and the frequency is 50 Hz. Plugs have two round pins. A plug adaptor will be required if incompatible electronic devices are used.
Catering
Participants will serve the coffee breaks/lunch in the designated spaces, as detailed in the Program Handbook.
Drugs and first aid
A wide range of non-prescription drugs are readily available at local pharmacies. For other medication you will need a prescription signed by a registered Romanian doctor. In case of emergency please call the 112 emergency number.
Lost and found
Lost property can be taken at the Info Stand. To report a lost item please contact the Info Stand.
Liability and insurance
Neither the society, nor the conference operator will assume responsibility for injury and/or damage involving persons or property during the event. All participants are advised to prevent/avoid any injury/ loss.
Mobile phone
Mobile phones must be switched off during all sessions.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.
